Dr. Caroline Singletary Johnston born January 18, 1962, gave her life back to the Lord on November 24, 2009. Caroline loved life and was loved by all. Born in Fort Hood, TX. she was the youngest of 3 children. She later married Robert Johnston. They both graduated from Texas A&M University and Texas A&M Medical School. Caroline, a board certified Family Physician, was a large part of Jacinto Medical Group and Jacinto Medical Corporation. Her patients loved and respected her. Each patient was special to her and she would take care of them after hours, on weekends and holidays, even when she wasn’t on call. Many a time did she have a grocery store consult to take care of someone. She would smile with them, cry with them, and laugh with them. She knew them, all their families, and of course the names of their animals.
While being an excellent physician, Caroline’s first priority was being a wife and mother. She always made time for her family. She and Rob just celebrated 25 years of marriage this summer. And you could find her at school events from pre-school activities to this year’s football games, watching Christine cheer for the Bulldogs and Elizabeth dance with the Stars. She drove car loads of children around and loved every minute of it. She was so excited when she got a new camera this year and was snapping pictures like crazy. She was planning on taking Christine’s graduation pictures with it. Caroline was also involved in martial arts. She was taking classes in Tang Soo Do and Hapkido. She also loved to vacation in the tropics and dive. Caroline was one of kind. She will truly be missed by family, friends, colleagues, and community. Caroline, We Love You.
